We girls go through a hell lot of problems and the one that we all hate but have no choice but deal with is- the periods!! It is really putting off when you have periods anyways however if you have PMS and cramps, then it becomes even more difficult.

During the periods, there maybe symptoms like abdominal cramping as well as heavy bleeding.

Factors responsible for this condition are many some of which include nutrition, genetics, medications etc. however by large it happens due to hormone imbalance. The monthly fluctuation caused in the progesterone and estrogen as well as other hormones like LH and FSH is controlling a women’s cycle and theories say that these hormones may interact with certain chemicals in the brain which will create real symptoms in such times.

Placing a heat pad on the lower abdomen is the most common as well as the beneficial way to ease out the menstrual cramp. It will relax and contract muscles in the uterus. Use a readymade heat pad or else you may soak a towel in hot water, wring out the excess and place it on the lower abdomen until you feel better. Taking hot showers also help in easing the pain.
