Lemon honey syrup Recipe

Honey- Lemon combination is the best remedy for a cold, sore throat and even weight loss. It kills bacteria, and soothes the throat. Below is how you could make lemon honey syrup:

Things you need-

  • 1 cup Raw honey
  • 1/3 cup organic lemon juice or 3-4 lemons sliced

Directions-

In a bowl, add warm honey. Make sure the honey is warm and not hot because it will inactivate essential heat-labile components in lemon. Add in lemon juice and stir until well combined. At this point, the honey will get a bit thin.

You can also add in lemon slices and keep them infused. Store the syrup in an air-tight jar and at a cool and dry place.
