HOW TO GET RID OF TARTAR NATURALLY

Tartar, tooth decay and cavities are among the world’s most common oral health problems. Tartar is basically a hard calcified deposit that forms on the teeth and contributes to their decay. Once formed, it can be really tough to get rid of it though some natural remedies can work with continued usage. Here are some natural ways to get rid of tartar:

ONIONS

Onions have antiseptic and antimicrobial properties that that helps clear tartar. It can provide relief from pain caused by excessive tartar or cavity by killing the germs causing an infection. BAKING SODA

Brush your teeth using a mixture of baking soda and water in the morning after your regular brushing. Mix one tablespoon of baking soda and add some water in it so that a smooth consistency is achieved. Brush your teeth with this concoction concentrating on the areas having tartar and within 2-3 months of regular usage you will notice difference.

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

Using apple cider vinegar can also give you pearly white teeth along with dissolving tartar as it removes those stubborn stains. Just take a small amount of ACV on your brush and use it for brushing teeth especially on the areas having tartar. TURMERIC

 Turmeric is anti-inflammatory, contains antioxidants, and is antimicrobial. This makes it perfect for treating common dental problems, oral hygiene and teeth whitening. Mix ¼ teaspoon of turmeric powder with a little mustard oil. Use it to brush your teeth. Make sure to rinse your mouth thoroughly afterwards.

OIL PULLING

Oil pulling is an age-old remedy that uses natural substances to clean, whiten and detoxify teeth and gums. The concept is incredibly simple. Basically, a person swishes a couple teaspoons of vegetable based oil (coconut, sesame or olive) in the mouth for 20 minutes and then spits it out and rinses well.  Oil pulling is best done in the morning, before eating or drinking anything.
