Hey all!!! Today I am going to review Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Lipstick in 05. These lipsticks by Rimmel, launched in collaboration with Kate Moss, have nothing less of a cult following. These lipsticks are one of the favorite drugstore lipsticks. Though Rimmel is available in India, this range has not yet been released in India. However, you can find these lipsticks in local beauty stores that keep international brands.

My Experience: Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Lipstick in 05 comes in a very sleek all-black packaging with matte finish. It has the logo of Rimmel engraved on it and an imprint of Kate Moss’s signature. The packaging is quite sturdy and the cap does shut tight. Since the packaging is all black, you have to look to the bottom of the lipstick to pick out a particular shade.
Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Lipstick in 05 is a beautiful shade of rosy pink. It is neither too subtle nor too bright. Perfect for work and everyday wear. The warmer undertones make it perfect for Indian complexions. I love the shade for a no-fuss look. Gives a pretty warm pink flush on my lips. You can wear this shade with just an eyeliner or even a slight elaborate eye makeup.
Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Lipstick in 05 has a slight sheen to it, which gives the lipstick a semi-matte finish. The lipstick is creamy and smooth and has a slightly waxy feeling to it. The lipstick kinds of clings to the lips and still looks natural. It glides easily and does not tug the lips at all. However, if you have very dry patches, it will emphasize those. So, a quick exfoliation is recommended for very dry lips. The lipstick may transfer on glasses and cups.
Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Lipstick in 05 has a good pigmentation. Though pigmented lips may need two swipes to get the exact color. This lipstick lasts for 3-4 hours and not for 8 hours as marketed. You will need to reapply after a meal for sure.
