A big hello to all! Winter is leaving but dry and rough hair is not leaving us that easily. So I think this is a common problem to most of us. Here I am going to review a nice cleansing shampoo from Kerastase. No doubt Kerastase products are much heavy on pockets! So read on to know how this shampoo has fared on me.
Claims– Sublime cleansing oil shampoo with the oleo complex for all hair types. No other claims are written on the back of the bottle. Anyway let’s concentrate on the review.
Kerastase elixir ultime oleo complex shampoo comes in a rose gold colored transparent plastic bottle and the golden cap is tightly attached to it. Though the opening is wide and there is no stopper is provided. Still I didn’t really face any problem during pouring on my palm. Small sturdy packaging definitely makes it travel friendly.
The consistency of this shampoo is a bit runny but believe me it is too soft in texture to touch. When I pour it on my palm I can feel the difference from other shampoos in texture. It is like clear fluid and doesn’t contain any added color. It has a spicy smell but I enjoy the smell during my bath. So don’t worry regarding the spicy smell.
It lathers easily and it cleans hair thoroughly. It is very much suitable for dry damaged hair as it makes my hair soft and manageable. It may not suit very oily hair but I used it with or without the oleo complex hair mask. When I haven’t used the mask, it added volume to my hair without any dryness. When I have used the mask, it didn’t add volume that much but it added shine and softness to my hair. But as my hair is dry and scalp is oily, I need to wash my hair the other day.
