Cucumber and Yoghurt Mask:
Take one tbsp of peeled cucumber and mix it with one tbsp of yoghurt. Blend both ingredients in a blender. Now, apply this mixture on the affected area for 20-25 minutes and then rinse off with water. This mask will soothe the burned and irritated skin immediately.
Apple Cider Vinegar:
Apple cider vinegar has anti-inflammatory properties that reduce irritation, redness and other skin issues immediately. So, it is very effective in treating razor burns as well. Dilute one tbsp of ACV in 2-3 tbsp of water. Now using a cotton ball apply the mixture on affected area and let it stay for 5-10 minutes. Then rinse off with plain water. Repeat it until the razor burn is gone.
Black Tea and Coconut Oil:
Steep one tea bag in one cup of hot water for 20 minutes and then let it cool down. Once the water is cooled down, add one tbsp of coconut oil in the tea water. Dip cotton pad in it and apply it on irritated skin. This mixture is antibacterial and rich in tannic acid so it will heal irritated skin immediately.
Tea Tree oil and Olive Oil:
Take one tbsp of olive oil and mix it with 2-3 drops of tea tree oil. Massage this on red and irritated skin for 5-10 minutes. Teas tree oil has antibacterial properties that heal irritated skin immediately after application. You should always dilute tea tree oil with other oil as it is highly concentrated.
Aloe Vera:
Aloe vera has natural soothing properties so applying it on razor burn will give you relief from the burning feeling. Take fresh aloe vera gel and rub it on the affected area. Let it sit for 10 minutes and then rinse with cold water. It will soothe your skin and will speed up the healing process.
