Hemp seeds too are one of those seeds that have essential nutrients needed for a healthy body. Hemp oil or hemp seed oil is the oil extracted from seeds of the Cannabis plant. Many people use hemp oil in the kitchen but hemp oil is also a fantastic beauty product. Below are some beauty DIYs for hemp seed oil along with its benefits:

ANTI-ACNE

Benefits: Hemp oil can help prevent acne when taken internally and applied topically as well.  It contains omega-3 fatty acids that help the body in reducing inflammation of the skin. This reduces the redness of pimples and may also prevent future breakouts. Hemp oil can be used as topically as well.

DIY: Take few drops of hemp oil on the palm followed by few drops of coconut and tea tree oil.  Use it as a night-time facial oil. You can also add in few drops of hemp oil t your regular face wash or make your own by mixing 1 tablespoon hemp oil to 2 cups of castile soap. NOURISHING MAKEUP REMOVER

Benefits: Hemp oil has skin nourishing properties thanks to the omega-3 fatty acids in it. Not only does it break down all the makeup and grime on the face, but also add in moisture even after washing it off with facial foam!

DIY: In a bottle, pour hemp oil, coconut oil and castor oil in equal proportions. Shake it well and take some amount on a cotton pad and use it as a makeup remover. You can also take some amount on your palms and use it to massage your face like cleansing oil. Finally, wash it out using facial foam.

HOT OIL TREATMENT

Benefits: Hemp oil promotes hair growth and can be used as hair oil to thicken hair. Additionally, it is also well-known for its ability to treat hair loss or thinning hair.

DIY: Mix up 2 tablespoons hemp oil with 1 tablespoon castor oil and 3 tablespoons of coconut oil. Warm it a bit and apply on scalp and hair. Massage for 15 minutes and keep it overnight or for 4 hours. Later, shampoo it off.

CUTICLE OIL

Benefits: Hemp oil makes great cuticle oil and can be used for manicures. It softens the cuticles along with providing it with omega 3 and 6.

DIY: Apply hemp oil directly on the cuticles or add few drops of it in warm water along with few drops of argan and olive oil for soaking before you push back the cuticles.

MOISTURIZER

Benefits: The fats, or lipids, in hemp oil are similar to those found in the skin. This makes it an effective moisturizer and protectant for skin. DIY: Take some shea butter and melt it. Add in a bit of hemp oil, coconut oil and very little melted beeswax. Keep this on ice and whip until you get a thick whipped consistency. Use it like a regular moisturizer.
