DIY Honey Foaming Bath Soap for smooth moisturized skin
Bath soaps is something we all use on a regular basis, be it a bar soap or liquid soap. Many of you would agree to the fact that natural ingredients do wonders for your skin and bath soaps with natural ingredients are quite expensive in the markets. You can instead make a foaming bath soap at home with some great skin beneficial ingredients:
Olive oil- Olive oil is a great skin moisturizer. It softens skin and prevents drying from the foaming agent in recipe.
Organic honey- Honey is a natural humectant. It keeps skin hydrated and reduces any skin inflammation or body acne due to it anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties. It also brightens up your skin.
Lavender oil- Lavender oil helps with body acne and dryness. It also works as a fragrant in the recipe.
RECIPE FOR LIQUID HAND SOAP:
Things you need-
1 cup olive oil
1/2 cup organic honey
1/2 cup liquid hand soap
Few drops of lavender oil ( optional )
In a medium bowl, add the oil and slowly stir in the remaining ingredients until fully incorporated.
Pour mixture through a funnel into a clean plastic bottle with a squeeze top. Be sure to shake gently before using.
Squeeze desired amount under running water into a bathtub. Step in and enjoy a silky luxurious bath that will moisturize your skin while you soak.
Recipe 2- Foaming Vanilla-Honey Bath:
In a clean container, mix together 1 cup light oil (almond, sunflower, or canola), ½ cup honey, ½ cup mild liquid hand or body soap, and 1 tablespoon vanilla extract. To use, shake gently to remix and pour ¼ cup under the running water as you fill the tub. This recipe yields about 16 ounces, or enough for 8 baths.
