- CARROT

- LETTUCE
Lettuce regrows from the base or the bottom. You can cut off the base since it is anyways not edible (not usually edible) and place it in a dish filled with water. Once it starts sprouting you may shift it into soil.
- BEAN SPROUTS
Bean sprouts are the easiest ones to grow. If you have any leftover beans or just the sprouts, place it in water for a day or two or until they sprout and then shift it into soil.
- AVOCADO
Avocado regrows from the seed. Simply wash the seed and use toothpicks to suspend it over water in a bowl or jar. The water should come up enough to cover the bottom inch of the seed. After few weeks you will see rots and tiny stem growing; that is when you can plant it in soil.
- GINGER
Ginger itself is a root, so any part of it when you sow grows into a plant. You may suspend it in water for the initial days to see it sprouting and then put it in soil if you want.
