- Shea butter and cocoa butter along with coconut oil and anti-bacterial beeswax works like a charm in treating lip pigmentation and moisturizing it at the same time!
Here is a recipe for DIY Lip balm for Pigmented Lips. Things you need:
- 1/8 cup coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon grated beeswax
- ½ tablespoon Shea butter
- ½ tablespoon cocoa butter
Method:
- Combine all the ingredients and melt it on a double boiler.
- Pour it in a container and let it sit for 3 hours straight to completely cool it down and solidify.

Note: You can add essential oils of your choice! But since it contains cocoa butter, it give the lip balm a mild dark chocolate fragrance; so if you do not want the chocolate fragrance, you may add any essential oil with strong fragrance.
