TONER

Squeeze some fresh lemon juice extract and dilute it with some water. Add 1 teaspoon baking soda to it and apply it on the affected area (acne prone) with the help of a cotton pad. You can leave it for about fifteen minutes and then wash off with clean cold water. Regular usage of lemon juice helps in healing acne.

MASSAGE

Mix 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon of raw honey, 2 teaspoons lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Apply on the skin and massage gently in circular motion. Wash it with lukewarm water after 10 minutes. Apply once a week.

SCRUB

Combine 2 tablespoons of baking soda, 1/4 cup of lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of granulated brown sugar in a cup. Stir until the ingredients are evenly blended, and then apply the scrub to damp, just-cleansed skin. Massage the skin gently with your fingers, concentrating on dry patches or problem areas. Let the mask soak in for 10 minutes, and then rinse with lukewarm water.

MASK

Mix lemon juice, baking soda, and honey together in a small dish. You should end up with a paste-like consistency. If it’s too runny, add a bit more baking soda. Apply the mask mixture to your face and neck using circular motions. Leave on your skin for 5-15 minutes. You should feel some tingling and tightening of the mask. Remove the mask with a lukewarm washcloth, using circular motions until skin is completely clean. Finally wash face with cold water and apply moisturizer.
