Fill up the bathtub with cool water and add 1/2 to 1 cup oatmeal and mix it in. The anti-inflammatory properties will help relieve sunburn pain and soothe the skin.  Also, add a cup of milk to the bath water. Apple cider vinegar: ACV can help ease sunburn pain and inflammation. Take a cool bath, and add two cups of vinegar to the bathwater before you get in. vinegar is an antiseptic and helps to cool the skin as it evaporates.

To prevent the skin from drying, apply a moisturizer immediately after your soak. Also try to chill the moisturizer in the refrigerator before using to cool the skin.
