Salt water can be used to steam your face and open up the pores. Boil 1/3 cup of dead sea salt in a small pan of water and pour the solution in a bowl. Now cover your face with a towel, hold it over the steam for about 10 minutes.

SKIN DETOX

You can mix a table spoon of dead sea salt in your bath water to have a relaxing bath. Bathing in rock salt water combats water retention, soothes sore muscles, regulates sleep, detoxifies your body and lowers your blood pressure. It also eases stress and body pains.

CLEAN PORES

Salt water has excellent cleansing properties. It can cleanse your skin pores better than any soap or cleanser and makes your skin breathe easily. You can mix ½ tablespoon of dead sea salt in 3 tablespoons water; then mix it with your cleanser or face wash and rub your face with it for a glowing skin.

TONER FOR OILY SKIN

Salt water can be used to reduce facial oiliness. For this purpose, fill a small spray bottle with tepid water mixed with 1 teaspoon sea salt and mist on your face. Be careful to avoid your eyes. This acts as a skin toner, keeping your skin oil-free and refreshed all day long.

Salt water can help reduce the under eye puffiness and wake your eyes up. For treatment of puffiness of eyes, lie on your back and apply pads soaked in a solution of one teaspoon organic salt and hot water.

NATURAL TEXTURIZING HAIRSPRAY

You can make an all-natural hair spray for beachy waves minus the harmful chemicals! All you need is Spray bottle 1 cup hot water, 1-2 tsp sea salt, 1 tbsp coconut oil, argan oil, or ½ of each or both!), ½ tsp leave-in conditioner and a dab of water-based gel. Add the hot water to the spray bottle. Measure out and add the ingredients. Shake the bottle for a minute or so. Spray liberally to towel-dried hair and scrunch your hair. Try putting it in a big, loose braid for awhile, and/or on top of your head in a loose knot while it dries. Finally open your hair ad you are good to go!

VOLUME AND CONTROL

It seems that sea salt water can give our hair some volume and control. All you need is some sea salt and water! Mix about one tablespoon of salt with 300ml of water. Use it like last hair rinse after shampooing and conditioning or you may also use it like hair spray to give an instant volume and control.

Sea salt or even table salt can cope with hair loss, defeat itchy and acne scalp; can also help hair grow fast. All you need is 3 tablespoons sea/table salt and 2 cups water. Warm the water and add salt to it. Dissolve all the salt and use this salt water to massage scalp before hair washing.

To get rid of excess sweat, apply salt spray on dampened roots and allow it to dry. This will soak up any sweat or oil throughout the day as salt can absorb moisture.
