I was looking for a daily moisturizer with SPF in it and then I finally bought “Plum Grape Seed and Sea Buckthorn Light Stay Day Cream” online. Summers are finally here and I wanted a light moisturizer with SPF for my combination skin. Plumgoodness is a brand that uses natural ingredients for their products. The brand is also against animal testing and the products are also free from SLS and paraben. Let’s move to the detailed review.

PLUM GRAPE SEED AND SEA BUCKTHORN LIGHT STAY DAY CREAM

My Experience: “Plum Grape Seed and Sea Buckthorn Light Stay Day Cream” is packed in a white colored plastic tube and has a transparent flip-flop cap on top. The cap shuts with a click sound and it’s really tight that makes the packaging travel-friendly. It has a very pleasant and sweet fragrance which sadly vanishes within 10- minutes of application. I really want the fragrance to last longer because it’s very good.

I just use a pea-sized amount for my face and neck. It spreads easily and provides a great base for my bb-cream. I have tried many moisturizers in past and I have experienced that creams which contain SPF are usually greasy but this cream has a very light texture which isn’t greasy at all. I so love using it these days that I feel like dancing. I have finally found a cream with perfect texture that doesn’t make my combination skin oily and keeps my skin hydrated for long hours. I have combination skin and it gives my skin the right amount of hydration, it will suit all skip types expect for dry skin. The cream absorbs into skin and gives a matte finish.

It protects me against tanning and red patches which are common if I stay in sun for longer. I don’t use any other sunscreen when I use it and it does a great job in protecting me from the sun. I keep reapplying it after 3 hours. If you have sensitive skin then you should definitely give this moisturizer a try. This fruit based, paraben-free moisturizer will benefit your skin in many ways. Overall, this has become my favorite summer skin care moisturizer.

    Why I love it:

    • The ingredient list is completely natural
    • The texture is light-weight
    • Spreads easily without leaving any shiny/greasy feeling
    • Love the pleasant fragrance
    • Protects from Sun
    • Hydrates skin completely
    • Combats dryness around mouth
    • Gets absorbed into the skin deeply
    • Stays for good 5 hours
    • Perfect for sensitive skin

    Why I hate it:

    • May not suit dry skin
    • Pricey

    RBS Rating: 4.5/5

    Price: Rs 475 for 60ml

Final Thought: If you are looking for a light-weight summer skincare moisturizer then “Plum Grape Seed and Sea Buckthorn Light Stay Day Cream” is ideal. It will suit normal to oily skin beauties but stay away if you have dry skin. It hydrates skin, smells really good, protects from us and stays for entire day. The pricey is high but it’s worth trying.
