OVERNIGHT TOAST RECIPES

We all always lookout for quick breakfast recipes, after all who would like to spend an hour behind making and eating a breakfast before office? People in hurry often skip having breakfast and end up being hungry hours before lunch. How about overnight breakfast recipes? Like, you just have to completely assemble your food in the night itself and simply toss it in the oven or roast it on a non-stick pan. After overnight oatmeal recipes, we are here with overnight toast recipes for a quick and nutritious breakfast:

OVERNIGHT TOAST RECIPESBASIC FRENCH TOAST

To make this basic french toast, you need 1 bread slice, 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder, 1 ½ teaspoon brown sugar, 1 egg, half cup milk, and salt as per taste.

Coat your dish with melted butter and keep the bread on it. Sprinkle cinnamon powder and brown sugar over it. In a bowl, break one egg and add milk and salt to it. Beat it properly and pour it over the bread slice. Cover it with a lid or aluminium foil and refrigerate overnight.  Simply toss it in the microwave in the morning for a quick breakfast.

BANANA TOAST

To make this banana toast, you need 1 bread slice, 1 cup milk, 1 medium sized banana and 2 tablespoons peanut or almond butter.

Coat your dish with melted butter and keep bread on it. In another bowl, add milk, peanut butter and mashed/sliced banana. Add these contents in a blender and blend it until smooth. Pour the mixture over the bread and cover it with a lid or aluminium foil. Refrigerate it overnight and toss it in the microwave in the morning. You may also roast or grill it, whatever you like.

EGG TOAST

To make this egg toast, you need 1 bread, 2 eggs, 1 small sized onion, 1 teaspoon chilli powder, salt and ½ tomatoes.

Coat your dish with melted butter and keep bread on it. In another bowl, beat eggs and add chopped onion and tomato. Add chilli powder and salt as per taste and beat it properly. Pour the egg mixture over bread evenly. Cover it with a lid or aluminium foil and refrigerate overnight.  Simply toss it in the microwave in the morning for a quick breakfast.

SAFFRON TOAST

If you like saffron milk, you would definitely like this delicious saffron toast. To make this saffron toast, you need 1 cup milk, 2 tablespoons brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of saffron threads.

Take milk in a bowl and add saffron threads and brown sugar to it. Warm the milk just little in order to dissolve the brown sugar and let the saffron extract get mixed with the milk. Let it cool completely before pouring on the bread or it will make the bread soggy. Now, Coat your dish with melted butter and keep the bread on it. Pour the milk mixture over the bread and cover it with a lid or aluminium foil. Simply toss it in the microwave in the morning or roast it on a non-stick pan.

CREAMY PEACH TOAST

To make this creamy peach toast, you need 2 thick brown breads, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 cup milk, ½ cup heavy cream, 1-2 peaches sliced and few drops vanilla extract.

Add milk, cream, brown sugar, half of the peach content and vanilla extract in a blender and blend until smooth. Now, Coat your dish with melted butter and keep the breads on it. Pour the milk mixture over the bread and place remaining peach slices on it. Cover the bowl with a lid and refrigerate overnight. Simply bake it in the morning.

Tip: You can also sandwich the peach layer in between two breads and then pour the milk in between and over it.
