Today’s review is going to be a special one for those who love makeup but hate it melting away due to sweat or in the rains. Yes, the review is about a makeup setting spray from NYX. NYX has 2 variants in this- matte finish and for a dewy look. I got the matte finish makeup setting spray and here are my views on it:

MY TAKE ON NYX MATTE FINISH MAKEUP SETTING SPRAY
Packaging: The product comes in spray bottle form. The entire bottle is black in colour and is made up of plastic. The transparent cap closes with little pressure and with a satisfying click. The bottle has matte finish and is travel friendly.
Texture: The spray is clear and has watery consistency. Feels like you have sprayed water; no residual feeling at all.
Fragrance: The spray has a characteristic chemical smell which I not a big fan of; although it doesn’t last more than few minutes so it’s not a problem for me.
How I use and after effects: After I am done applying my foundation, setting power and blush, I hold the spray 15 cm away from my face and spray quickly. One spray on the left side and another on the right; the T-zone need not be sprayed separately since it gets covered when you spray on the sides. Face feels wet for few minutes but I stand in front of a fan to dry it quickly :p You can let it air dry on its own!
Makeup feels flawless the moment it dries. No patchiness at all. face does not quite look matte but it does not get shiny either! Controls oil very efficiently and keeps your makeup as it is- and I mean it! I had used this spray early in the morning and my makeup including blush remained as it is. Infact, I even got wet in the rain still when I came home my makeup was still there! No fading as well ^_^ in true sense I can call it a miracle product since it does more than it claims! I am very happy I got this product.
I use a makeup remover to remove my makeup and it comes off easily, so there won’t be any problems with this product about keeping behind makeup residue and clogging pores.
