I love coral lipsticks- and I think I have already said it in a lot of other reviews before :p I just can’t get enough of it! Maybelline has recently launched Vivid Matte lipsticks and I got one yayy! Do not get confused with vivid matte lipsticks and vivid matte liquid lipsticks. the one I am reviewing today is the Maybelline Vivid Matte Lipstick (and not liquid lipstick) in Rosy Orange. So let us get to the review:

MY TAKE ON MAYBELLINE VIVID MATTE LIPSTICK ROSY ORANGE
Packaging: These lipsticks come in deep red coloured caps with black lipstick body- contrasting to the bold matte lipsticks. The caps are not very tight but they won’t come off. I carry this lipstick in my handbag and the cap never came off it.
Texture: The lipstick is not very creamy and not very matte. It is not very hydrating but not very drying either. I would say that the texture of this lipstick is moist matte. No tugging or pulling while applying and stays put all day long.
Shade: Rosy Orange is a bright orange shade with pink undertones. I would call it bright coral.
How I use and staying power: I carefully line the lips with the lipstick itself and then fill in. One swipe gives an opaque colour but if you want bright lips, you may layer it. Doesn’t bleed at all and stays as it is all day long- if you do not eat anything! The lipstick may fade a bit leaving behind not-so-bright tint which looks good anyway. This lipstick is easy to remove and I am very happy I do not need a makeup remover or coconut oil for this.
