Lotion bars are travel-friendly because they are leak-proof and are tiny that can fit in almost any bag you carry. lotion bars can be quite expensive because most f the times, they are hand made and/or contain natural and organic ingredients. lotion bars are very easy to prepare, below is a recipe-
BENEFITS:
Shea butter- Moisturizing and skin softening properties. Heals dryness and prevents dry patches even in harsh winter.
Beeswax- Has anti-microbial properties. Also works as a hardening agent in the recipe.
Matcha powder- Rich in anti-oxidants.
RECIPE FOR MATCHA LOTION BARS:
Things you need-
- 1 cup melted shea butter
- 2 tablespoons melted beeswax
- 2 tablespoon organic and pure matcha powder
Directions-
In a jar, add melted shea butter and beeswax. Add in matcha powder and stir.
Pour this in moulds/ice cube tray and let it solidify. Pop out and store it in an air-tight container or any zip lock bag.
To use, simply rub the lotion bar on your skin and massage. It melts when in contact with your warm skin.
