Kama Ayurveda is now quite popular for their luxurious as well as pure ayurvedic products. Their store really have a special classy ambiance which always attracts me to shop. I was suffering from hair fall for quite a long time and also my hair started getting rough and dry. It was the result of the constant hot tools that I used on my hair the previous year. So, I have bought kama Ayurveda intensive hair oil to nourish my hair and treat it with natural products.
Packaging- Kama Ayurveda bringadi intensive hair treatment comes in a transparent dark brown colored plastic bottle with a screw open golden-colored aluminium cap. Packaging looks good as an ayurvedic product but this is not travel friendly as oil can leak from the bottle.
Smell, texture, color– This oil has got a typical ayurvedic “jari butti” like smell which is not too over powering to my sensitive nose. It is deep blackish brown in color which denotes the presence of some ayurvedic ingredients. The oil is very light in texture and not very sticky. But after all it is oil and needs shampooing properly on the next day.
Performance– It spreads easily on the hair and scalp and very small amount is required for one time use. Kama says to keep it for at least 30 minutes before wash but I keep it overnight. It gets washed easily with shampoo and makes hair soft and less tangled. Surprisingly it gives volume to hair but has ruined straight effect of my hair especially in the frontal part of scalp. So not for chemically treated hair. It reduces hair fall to such extent and I am overall happy with the results.

Recommendation– Yes, I recommend this to everyone suffering from hair problems as well as want to maintain their hair to prevent any damage. I will buy the bigger bottle next time. It is a natural product hence no harm in trying it out!
