Jamun juice can be prepared in two ways. The first method is simple but it involves grinding the seeds, so the taste will be more bitter. But the seeds are also benefical for health. The second method just extracts juice from the fruit pulp. Also, the jamuns generally have a strong sour-bitterish taste. I just close my eyes and gulp it down. But if you wish, you can add a pinch of salt or a spoon of honey as per your preference.
- Method 1: Wash the fruits thoroughly and just blend it in a mixer finely. You can sieve or consume as it, as per your choice. Serve with ice-cubes for a refreshing and healthy summer drink.
- Method 2: Wash the fruits well. Take some water in a vessel and add the fruits and place on stove and allow to boil. Once it starts boiling, switch off the flame and let it cool. Now it would be softer and easier to de-seed. Remove the seeds and blend the pulp in a mixer along with the water used for boiling. Sieve and serve. So, have this juice everyday and find your skin clearing up and glowing as well as increased overall well-being.
