Your hair has to put up with a lot! The harsh sun, polluted air, heat treatments, chemicals; it’s no wonder your hair feels dry and damaged! There is no better sight than salon-treated smooth and bouncy hair. If you like the way your hair feels and looks after visiting a salon, you would definitely like the inexpensive home treatments and remedies for a salon perfect hair:
HOT OIL TREATMENTS
Hot oil treatments are popular in expensive hair salons but you can do them at home as well. All you need is natural oil like coconut oil, castor oil etc. You can use the oils separately or make blends of your choice and also add in essential oils. Heat the oil over low heat in the saucepan until it is warm but not too hot. Then massage the mixture into your hair and scalp and wrap your hair with a hot towel for twenty minutes before rinsing and washing as normal.
MILK HAIR TREATMENT
Milk has a lot of protein and it has the ability to strengthen the hair and make it wrinkle free and smooth. To use milk splash generous amount of milk on the hair and comb the hair so as to distribute the hair evenly. This will distribute the milk to every corner and every strand of hair and fortify the hair. Let the milk sit there for at least half an hour and then wash off. Regular application of milk and careful combing can give you nearly salon-like straight and silky hair.
EGGS
Eggs are perhaps one of the best ingredients to provide nourishment and shine to your hair in minutes. Being a good source of protein, fatty acids and lecithin, eggs help repair damaged and dull hair by adding moisture and shine. Beat two eggs until you get a foamy texture. Mix in two tablespoons of almond oil and one-half cup of yogurt. Apply this mixture on your hair and scalp. Cover with a shower cap for 30 minutes and then shampoo your hair with cool water.
HONEY HAIR MASK
Honey has the ability to trap moisture in your hair, leaving it soft, shiny, and nourished- meaning salon-like!! Apply half cup of honey to freshly washed, damp hair and gently massage it into your scalp and hair strands. Cover with a shower cap and leave the treatment on for 20 to 30 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.
AVOCADO
Make a mixture of one mashed avocado, one mashed banana and one tablespoon of olive oil. Massage it on your scalp and leave the mixture on your hair for about 30 minutes so that the nutrients are absorbed by the scalp. Finally, rinse it out and shampoo your hair. You can also make a hydrating hair mask by mixing two tablespoons of wheatgerm oil with half of a ripe mashed avocado. Apply this hair mask on freshly shampooed hair and allow it to sit for at least 20 minutes. Rinse your hair thoroughly and then shampoo your hair.
MAYONNAISE
Full fat mayo may not be too good for your thighs but it can make your hair soft and shiny. You don’t have to mix mayo with anything – just add to your hair, leave to 30 minutes and rinse off after wards.
COCONUT MILK/SPOILT COCONUT MILK
Coconut milk is full of nutrients which have the ability to give your hair an incredible shine and also straighten up the hair. For using coconut milk bathe your hair in coconut milk and leave it there for at least 2 hours minutes. Now rinse it with some water. Using shampoos can snatch the nutrients and make the hair dull.
