GARLIC SAUCE RECIPE

APPLE SAUCE RECIPE

APPLE SAUCEUse: This recipe is very easy and can be made within no time. Apple sauce can be used in desserts, as a dip, in salads, as a cake topping, on ice creams, as a sugar substitute in baking etc.

Things you need: To make this sauce, you need 4 apples peeled and diced/sliced, ¼ cup water, ½ cup jaggery and ½ teaspoon cinnamon.

Method: Add water, apples and jaggery in a pan and cook it on medium flame until the apples get soft and homogenised. Let it cook until the sauce starts bubbling. Turn off the gas and add cinnamon powder in it. Mix well and let it cool down to room temperature.

GARLIC SAUCE RECIPEUse: Garlic sauce can be used in pastas, soups, chicken etc. to add a bit of taste and flavour. This sauce is especially great if you have cold.

Things you need: To make garlic sauce, you need 5-6 garlic cloves, 1 small onion, 1 pitted date, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, ¼ cup cashew nuts, salt and pepper as per taste preferences and water enough to make a paste.

Method: In a blender, add garlic cloves, chopped onion, pitted date, apple cider vinegar, cashew nuts, salt and pepper. You can also cook cashews with onions before adding it in the blender for extra flavour. Add little water and blend everything together. Check the taste and consistency; add salt and water accordingly and blend it again. Once the sauce is made, pour it over your spaghetti, macaroni, chicken or whatever you prefer. SPICY TANGY SAUCE  RECIPE

SPICY TANGY SAUCE  RECIPEUse: This sauce can be used as a pizza base sauce, like usual ketchup, in pastas, Chinese curries, wraps etc.

Things you need: To make spicy tangy sauce, you need ¼ cup olive oil, few cloves of garlic, ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, 600-700 grams pureed tomatoes, salt as per taste and 5-6 basil leaves torn.

Method: Making this sauce is fairly easy; add tomato puree, garlic, red pepper flakes and basil leaves in a blender and blend it well until well combined. In a pan, put some oil and let it sparkle. Add the prepared mixture to it and cook until it starts bubbling. You may add some water if you wish and let it simmer until it thickens. Add salt as pee taste and your spicy tangy sauce is ready!

HEALTHY CHOCOLATE SAUCE AKA NUTELLA RECIPE

HEALTHY CHOCOLATE SAUCE AKA NUTELLA RECIPEUse: Can be used in desserts, on pan cakes, as a spread, in smoothies, on top of ice creams etc.

Things you need: To make healthy chocolate sauce/nutella, you need 3 cups roasted hazelnuts (or raw if you can roast it), 2/3 cups dark chocolate compound and ½ teaspoon sea salt. You can add vanilla essence too if you like.

Method: Roast hazelnuts if you have the raw ones. Once roasted, let them cool down a bit and add them to a blender. Blend it until you get a buttery smooth paste. The blending action expels al the natural oils from nuts thus turning it to hazelnut butter. Blend it until you get a smooth paste. Once done, put it all in a bowl and keep aside. Melt dark chocolate and mix it with hazelnut butter you just made. Add sea salt and vanilla essence (optional) and give it a good mix. Pour it in a jar and you are done! Store it in refrigerator.
