Also, you need to use a shaving oil or shaving foam prior to shaving and it can be quite time consuming when you are in a hurry. Ever heard of dry shaving? Well, here is a recipe for shaving powder that allows shaving on dry skin on-the-go-
Cornstarch- Facilitates smooth shave without tugging and pulling and also eradicates sweat, moisture and stickiness on the skin. Prevents tugging and pulling.
Tea tree oil- Sanitizes skin, has anti-inflammatory and ant-microbial properties that prevents razor bumps and acne.
RECIPE FOR DRY SHAVING POWDER:
Things you need-
- 1/3 cup cornstarch
- 10 drops tea tree oil
In a bowl, add cornstarch and 10 drops of tea tree essential oil. Stir until there are no lumps.
Store the powder in a jar in cool and dry place.
To use, liberally dust the powder on skin and shave gently in the opposite direction of hair growth.
Rinse and moisturize.
