So, why not opt for homemade cleansing mask which nourishes the skin at the same time and imparts glow as well? At the same time, it is completely devoid of chemicals and parabens. If you can make this mask your staple beauty product for about four months and do away with face wash and soaps completely, you will start noticing significant difference in your complexion as well as the texture of your skin!

DIY Homemade Cleansing Face And Body MaskBesan and Milk Cleansing Face Mask: Besan is a natural cleanser that suits every skin type and helps lighten skin tone and remove tan. Milk too is a natural skin cleanser that deep cleans your skin, tones it and makes skin soft. Honey is an excellent moisturizer with anti-aging properties. It helps skin retain moisture and makes skin radiant and supple. Turmeric is a natural skin brightener that makes your skin bright and glowing.

To prepare an easy homemade DIY cleansing face mask, you would require:

  • Besan or gram flour: 3 tablespoons
  • Raw milk: 2 tablespoons
  • Honey: 2 tablespoons
  • A pinch of turmeric

Mix the above ingredients thoroughly. Wet your hands with cool water and start rubbing the mask on your face with gentle upward motions. Rinse the mask thoroughly with water after 20mins and pat dry your face. Your face feels squeaky clean.

This mask is gentle on your skin and can be used regularly if you wish to do away with store-bought facial cleansers completely from your skincare regimen.

Besan and Milk Cleansing Mask for Body: This cleansing mask can be effectively used on your body too! It is, in fact, an excellent substitute for soaps and body wash. It nourishes the skin while cleansing it of all the superficial impurities. To customize this cleansing mask for your body, use about ten tablespoons of besan and mix it with 6-7 tablespoons of raw milk. Add 5-6 tablespoons of honey and half-a-teaspoon turmeric. Mix the ingredients thoroughly to make a smooth and somewhat runny paste. Carry the concoction to your shower and apply it on wet skin. Wait for about five minutes and rub the skin with gentle upward motions. Use this mask instead of soap or shower gel to get clean and glowing skin.
