DIY – GREEN TEA FOOT SOAK

If you still have not got the perfect gift for her, how about making one yourself? Yes, a DIY gift will thrill your mom and also help you gift her something very meaningful. One thing that every mother lacks is the time to pamper herself. So, let us make a foot soak that will make her spend time on herself and relax as well.

DIY - GREEN TEA FOOT SOAK

BENEFITS:

Epsom salt- Detoxes, cleanses and softens feet. Also has great sanitizing and relaxing properties.

Baking soda- Softens feet and rejuvinates.

Peppermint oil- Has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties.

Matcha powder- Detoxes feet and increases circulation.

RECIPE FOR GREEN-TEA FOOT SOAK:

Things you need-

  • 1 bowl – epsom Salt.
  • 1 bowl – baking Soda.
  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder
  • 10 drops of peppermint essential oil.

This foot soak is an ultimate blend to detox and rejuvenate yourself. Epsom salt will get rid of all the harmful toxins, where as baking soda will refresh the feet. Green tea and ginger powder will further help to reduce fatigue and stress. Since it is getting warmer, adding a citrus essential oil will make the foot soak smell flowery and summery. A perfect aroma for hot summers!!!

DIY - GREEN TEA FOOT SOAK

Preparation of the foot soak:

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a jar and stir well.
  2. To use, add about 1/3 cup r a few tablespoons to a tub full of warm water.

Store the foot soak in an air-tight jar and gift her on the Mother’s Day. You can go a step further and make a gift basket for her. Add a candle, a bright nail paint, a refreshing face mask, a lip balm and a lip color. Or anything else that she enjoys. Make her feel special by preparing and gifting this foot soak.
