Today I will review the Colorbar deep matte lip creme in deep lily which was recently launched by the brand. Lip creams have been quite popular, until now we didn’t have many options available in the Indian Market but I was happy to see colorbar launching these and picked up the shade deep lily.

My Experience: The Lip creme comes in a lip gloss like sturdy packaging. It comes in a transparent tube with a glossy silver cap. The wand has a sponge tip applicator which gives a smooth and neat application. The shade Deep Lily is a beautiful shade of pink. It’s a deep pink shade with warm undertones and is quite universally flattering to look great on light to deeper skin tones. The color brightens up the face and is perfect to be paired with subtle eye makeup looks.
The lip creme has a thick and creamy texture that glides easily on the lips. It feels very light and comfortable on the lips and there is no need for a separate lip balm to use underneath due to the hydrating non-drying texture. When applied freshly it has a bit of shine, but within a minute or two it settles down to a semi matte finish. It has amazing pigmentation and the color is true as to how it looks in the tube. Just one swipe is enough to cover the lips and get opaque color payoff. The lip creme does not bleed, but it does transfer a bit throughout the wear time. It lasts for 6-7 hours easily on the lips with a bit of fading throughout the day and leaves a soft pink stain after fading.
