THE BODY SHOP TEA TREE SQUEAKY CLEAN SCRUB REVIEW

I wanted a mild scrub for my acne prone skin since long for everyday use and came across  the ‘The Body Shop TeaTree Squeaky Clean Scrub’. Basically it’s a mild foaming scrub and I quickly ordered it when I saw 20% off on this range. Without much ado, let us see how I liked it:

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

This skin-clearing facial scrub combines micro-fine exfoliants with bursting beads to help unclog pores without over-drying. Use a few times a week for skin that feels super clean and instantly smooth. Suitable for blemished skin, skin instantly feels soft, smooth and super clean and pores look visibly clearer and face feels purified.

MY TAKE ON THE BODY SHOP TEA TREE SQUEAKY CLEAN SCRUB

Packaging: The product comes in an attractive tube with matte finish print and flip open cap. Since the tube is transparent, the green scrub is visible and we can totally make out the amount of product left; besides the light green scrub with white particles look pretty too.

Texture: The scrub is not a solid scrub like this one but is a flowy foaming one. Since it is not solid, it is mild enough to be used on daily basis. The scrub contains white particles that exfoliate as you massage.

Fragrance: The scrub has characteristic mint-tea tree fragrance.

How I use and after-effects: I take a small amount on the palms, dot it on my face and massage using little water. You can actually feel the particles rubbing against your skin while you massage.  Since the scrub contains tea tree oil, you get a cooling sensation which does last for a few minutes even after the scrub is washed off. Face feels very soft, supple and squeaky clean. I get occasional pimples but I did not get a single pimple or bump on my face ever since I have started using this along with the body shop tea tree skin clearing clay mask from same range and some other skin care products too like the body shop tea tree oil.
