Remove buildup with baking soda:
Baking soda can be used as super clarifying treatment because it removes product buildup. It’s way cheaper than using expensive clarifying shampoo’s available in the market. Just mix 2 tbsp. of baking soda with your regular shampoo in a bowl and then apply it on your scalp and strands. Allow this mixture to sit for at least 10 minutes and then rinse off thoroughly so no residue is left behind. Repeat it 2 times a week for at least a month and the baking soda will remove product build up. You will notice smooth silky and manageable hair.
Coconut Oil Hair dye:
Oil your hair with coconut oil before coloring. Simply apply a little more before coloring. Not only does coconut oil make the hair easier to section off, it also helps to reduce the damage and dryness caused due to hair coloring. Massage the scalp with coconut oil then spread it to your whole hair. Be sure that you have covered every hair properly. Leave it for one hour or for best results leave it on overnight, then dye your hair as you usually do with the oil still in your hair.
Tshirt Hair dry for frizz free hair:
Drying hair with regular towel creates frizz as the texture of the towel is rough. So, instead of using towels you can use old cotton tee’s to dry your hair. A t-shirt is lightweight so it soaks up moisture without being harsh on hair and it also prevents frizz to a great extent. Take a cotton tee after shampooing your hair and use it to wring out the excess water. Then flip your head over and twist the shirt in a turban style. Wrap it around your head completely and leave for 15-20 minutes. This is a natural way to dry hair without making them unmanageable.
Tease hair with toothbrush:
Give your hair texture with a toothbrush. Just reach for a humble toothbrush to tease and texturise limp locks. If you don’t have a teasing comb handy, use an old toothbrush to tease the hair at the crown of your head or the areas along your hairline to get instant volume.
Sticky Bobby pins :
Make your bobby pins stay in place by using hair spray. For long lasting up-dos, don’t just spray your hair after it’s fixed; spray your bobby pins before you style, so they are sticky and will snag your hair and stay put.
Essential oil for scented hair:
Add a drop or two of essential oils like lavender or rose essential oil on your hair brush. Simply brush the scent through the length of the hair strands and let it work its magic.
Boost hair color with coffee:
Using coffee to boost your hair color is easy and effective. You will get the desired shine, shade, and even promote hair growth. Brew a strong pot of plain coffee and allow it to come to cool. Wet and shampoo your hair as usual. Pour the cooled coffee slowly over your head while standing in the shower. Massage it into your roots and your hair. Cover your head with a shower cap, wait for about 20 minutes minutes and then rinse the coffee out of your hair with cool water.
Smooth flyways with dryer sheet

Get rid of oily or greasy hair with rice flour
If your hairline starts to look greasy, dig up a big, fluffy makeup brush, and dip it into a pot of rice flour. Tap it once on the back of your hand to remove the excess, then dust it over your roots. It removes the oil and blends into your strands, so no one will know you didn’t shower.
