Benefits of using aloe vera shaving gel –Aloe is a highly effective moisturizer and a natural lubricant that helps the razor to glide smoothly over the skin without causing any irritation. It protects the skin from drying out and prevents ingrown hairs.
The healing properties can treat small cuts and heal any swelling and redness caused by shaving.
Tea tree oil contains anti-microbial properties and penetrates deep into the pores to treat ingrown hair.
Olive oil heals dry, itchy skin and helps restore skin smoothness.
You will need –
- 1/4 cup aloe vera gel – how to make aloe vera gel
- 1/2 cup hand soap or castile soap or shea butter soap
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- few drops of tea tree essential oil
If you using a soap bar then grate the soap and melt it using a double boiler. Mix the soap, aloe vera gel and olive oil. Add few drops of essential oil. Mix all the above ingredients into a mixing bowl and pour it into a container.
