French toast makes a great breakfast since it is easy to make, required less ingredients and time and is tasty! Along with being tasty, they need to be healthy too especially for those who work out or are health conscious. Too much fat in French toast can cause weight gain and fat gain even if you work out. Here are some vegan French toast recipes you can try:

EASY AND DELICIOUS FRENCH TOAST RECIPES

  1. COCONUT CINNAMON FRENCH TOAST

Things you need: To make this french toast, you need 1 bread slice, 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder, 1 ½ teaspoon brown sugar, 1 egg, half cup coconut milk, and salt as per taste (optional).

Method: Coat your dish with melted low fat or homemade butter and keep the bread on it. Sprinkle cinnamon powder and brown sugar over it. In a bowl, break one egg and add milk and salt to it. Beat it properly and pour it over the bread slice. Cover it with a lid or aluminium foil for 15 minutes.  Simply toss it in the microwave for a quick breakfast.

  1. ALMOND FRENCH TOAST

Things you need: To make this french toast, you need 1 bread slice, 2 tablespoons almond butter, 1 ½ teaspoon brown sugar, 1 egg, half cup almond milk, and salt as per taste (optional).

Method: Coat your dish with melted low fat or homemade butter and keep the bread on it. Add brown sugar over it. In a bowl, break one egg and add almond milk, almond butter and salt to it. Beat it properly and pour it over the bread slice. Cover it with a lid or aluminium foil for 15 minutes.  Simply toss it in the microwave for a quick breakfast. Add more almond butter over it if you like.

  1. STRAWBERRY FRENCH TOAST

Things you need: To make this french toast, you need 1 bread slice, 1 ½ teaspoon brown sugar, 1 egg, half cup almond or coconut milk, ¼ cup strawberry puree and salt as per taste.

Method: Coat your dish with melted low fat or homemade butter and keep the bread on it. Add brown sugar over it. In a bowl, break one egg and add almond/coconut milk, strawberry puree and salt to it. Beat it properly and pour it over the bread slice. Cover it with a lid or aluminium foil for 15 minutes.  Simply toss it in the microwave for a quick breakfast. Add more strawberry slices over it if you like.

  1. EGG VEGETABLE FRENCH TOAST

Things you need: To make this french toast, you need 1 egg, finely chopped veggies of your choice, salt and red chilli powder as per taste. OVERNIGHT BREAKFAST OATMEAL RECIPES

Method: Beat egg in a bowl and add red chilli powder and salt to it. Mix it well and add finely chopped veggies to it. Coat your dish with melted low fat or homemade butter or olive oil and keep the bread on it. Pour the prepared mixture over it evenly flipping it so that it is well coated. Cover it with a lid or aluminium foil for 15 minutes.  Simply toss it in the microwave for a quick breakfast or roast it on the pan. Serve with ketchup or eat alone.

  1. BANANA FRENCH TOAST

Things you need: To make this french toast, you need 1 bread slice, 1 cup low fat or almond milk, 1 medium sized banana and 2 tablespoons organic unsweetened peanut butter.

Method: Coat your dish with melted butter and keep bread on it. In another bowl, add milk, peanut butter and mashed/sliced banana. Add these contents in a blender and blend it until smooth. Pour the mixture over the bread and cover it with a lid or aluminium foil. Refrigerate it for 30 mins and toss it in the microwave in the morning. You may also roast or grill it, whatever you like.
