AVOCADO FOR HAIR:
DRY AND ITCHY SCALP
Avocado is well known for its moisturizing properties and can be used to treat dry and itchy scalp. Simply take an avocado and take out the pulp using spoon. Mash it properly until you get a smooth spreadable paste. You may add honey to it if you want. Apply this paste on scalp and hair evenly and let it sit for 1-2 hours. Shampoo as usual using mild shampoo.
DAMAGED AND FRIZZY HAIR
Avocado contains all the natural oils and nutrients needed for damaged and frizzy hair. To make the hair mask to solve this problem, you need 1 whole avocado, 3 tablespoons coconut cream and 2 tablespoons of avocado oil. Mash up the avocado pulp and add coconut cream to it. Mix it well and add avocado oil. Combine and apply this smooth mask on hair and scalp. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes and wash it off using a mild shampoo. It will not only make your frizzy hair manageable, but also add a shine to it.
AVOCADO FOR SKIN:
NATURAL SUNSCREEN
The oil in avocados has natural sunscreen-like properties. It has the ability to protect your skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays. This natural sunscreen can also heal and prevent sunburn caused due to spending too much time under the sun. To make this natural sunscreen, you need ½ cup fresh aloe vera gel and 3 tablespoons avocado oil. Take aloe vera gel in a bowl and mash it until there are no lumps. Now add avocado oil to it and mix it well. If you feel the mixture is not spreadable, simply toss the contents into a blender and blend it until an even solution is obtained. Store it in a bottle and use it before going out in the sun.
DRY SKIN CONDITIONS
Avocado has great moisturizing properties which make it suitable for dry skin conditions. Skin can get flaky and dry patches can develop in winters. You can mash 1 avocado, add little milk to it if needed and apply it on your face. Keep it for 30 minutes and wash off using lukewarm water.

Avocado oil can soften the cuticles and make it easy to push them back. It can also make your manicures last long. Simply soak your hands in warm water and apply avocado oil on the cuticles. Let it sit for 15 minutes and simply push back the cuticles with the wooden stick.
BRITTLE NAILS
Brittle nails can lead to peeling and weak nails that break off easily. When provided with moisture, nails can remain strong without getting dry ad brittle. Avocado mask can give your nails much needed moisturization. You need 1 tablespoon of avocado paste and ½ teaspoon of coconut oil. Mix these 2 ingredients properly and apply it on your nails and fingers evenly. Let it sit for 30 minutes then wash it off using only water. wipe your nails and fingers and you are done.
