Honey- Honey is a natural humectant that keeps skin soft and plump. It also has great anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties that helps keep skin clear.
Nutmeg- Nutmeg has skin detoxing and anti-acne properties. It also exfoliates skin and buffs away dead skin cells. Nutmeg unclogs pores and purifies skin.
Lemon juice- Lemon juice works as an astringent and shrinks pores. It cleanses pores and also has good skin lightening properties that helps lighten dark spots.
RECIPE FOR SKIN PURIFYING CINNAMON MASK:
Things you need-
- 1/4 Tsp organic Cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp raw Honey
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- Few drops lemon juice
Directions-
Mix organic cinnamon with 1 Tbsp of honey. Add in nutmeg and lemOn juice and mix well. Apply it over the face and avoid the eye area. Leave it on for 10-15 mins and rinse off.
The mask will tingle or sting for few mins. You can also use the mask just on the blemish as a spot treatment to shrink it or on the fine lines to naturally plump the skin making the lines less visible. If the mask burns your skin then use more honey and less cinnamon. Do not use this mask if you have very sensitive skin or allergic to cinnamon.
