8 Simple Prom Natural Skin Care TipsStart following this skincare regimen at least two weeks before the prom for maximum benefits!

Cleanse daily!

Use a soap-free cleansing solution to eliminate the dirt and other undesirable things that get attached to your skin. Cleanse at least four times a day, twice with the solution and twice just with plain water. This will help in keeping your skin clean.

Exfoliate regularly!

A skincare regimen sans exfoliation can never be termed as a good one. This step is essential to eliminate the dry, dead cells that otherwise would accumulate beneath the skin, leaving you will a dull skin. Choose a homemade exfoliating agent that uses oatmeal, yogurt, and honey as ingredients to get a glowing complexion. Exfoliate twice a week for optimal results.

Ditch the toner!

Toners were invented during a time when alkaline soaps were used to cleanse the skin. It was a solution for restoring the natural pH levels of the skin. Now that you have cleansers that come with pH-balance formulas avoid using the skin to preventing it from drying.

Refrain from experimenting with new facials and makeup products!

You will be tempted to try out that new glowing facial advertised or some new makeup product! Strictly saying, it is not the right time to experiment with these things as they could cause eruptions, leaving your skin blotched and red. Stick to your usual skincare products.

Waxing should be done with care!

Do not try waxing your skin just a day or two before your prom, especially if you have sensitive skin. It is a good idea to get rid of that unwanted hair well in advance to avoid any irritation, but not that earlier as they would trigger hair growth.
