The cost of commercials, chemical based products which are available in the market is very high. Not only the cost but it’s also not good for your health especially when you have children’s around your house you cannot use such toxin products. It’s better to prepare some homemade solutions using natural ingredients to do cleaning. You can clean your whole house with lemons. Here are some tips and tricks you can try:

Deodorize garbage disposal:

To freshen up the stinky garbage disposal in your sink’s drain you can use lemons. Lemons are citric which helps in cleaning and they also leave nice scent behind which stays for quite some time. All you need is just slice lemons and slip them into the sink. Run hot water for 5-10 minutes and then stop. Hot water will swallow the lemon juice and it will also leave your skink deodorized immediately.

Shiny Stuff:

Make copper, brass and chrome shine using lemons and save your polishing money. Take lemon, cut it into half and start rubbing it on the surface. Keep rubbing for 5-10 minutes and then you will notice the shine yourself. For extra oomph, you can also add a little bit of salt on the lemon and then rub it on the surface. The acidic property of lemons will loosen the mineral deposit and will remove all the dirt.

Remove stains:

You don’t need much effort and time to remove those stubborn stains from food storage containers or from chopping block. You just need to squeeze lemon on the stain, then put some baking soda on top of it and rub the mixture for 2-3 minutes. If the stain doesn’t get removed then leave the mixture to stay for more time or you can even leave it overnight if required.

CLEAN MICROWAVE  in 5mins using LEMON : Clean your microwave in less than 5 mins using just lemon. Lemon helps to cut out the grease and dissolve food splatters.

  1. Fill a microwave-safe bowl with water. squeeze in some lemon juice and add in few lemon slices.
  2. Microwave on high power for 3 minutes so the liquid comes to a boil.
  3. Let bowl stand in microwave for at least 10 minutes. The water will be very hot and by letting it stand, there is time for steam to build up inside microwave oven.
  4. Finally, remove the bowl and wipe down the appliance with a soft cloth.

The lemon method will remove stuck on grease, dirt and will also make your microwave smell good.
