How to Use It?

Using it is very easy; you just need to shampoo with a gentle herbal shampoo as usual and then condition your hair with a good herbal conditioner. Then rinse your hair with this homemade hair rinse as a final rinse. You have two choices. If you want, you can leave the rinse on your hair or just wash it after some time. You can rinse it after 15 minutes or even an hour; it totally depends on your wish. Use hair rinse only once or twice a week but not too often if it contains vinegar since on regular use, vinegar can be drying. While making this recipe, always make small batches of it to keep it fresh always. Use only filter water or mineral water instead of tap water to make it.

Few Herbal Hair Rinse Recipes:

  1. Chamomile Hair Rinse:

You need 2 tbsp of dried chamomile flowers, ½ cup apple cider vinegar and ½ cup filtered water. Take the water in a pan and boil the dried chamomile flowers for 15 minutes. Keep it aside for a while and let it cool down and then strain the water. Now mix the vinegar in it and use it as a final rinse for your hair.

  1. Mint Hair Rinse:

You need ½ cup water, ½ cup apple cider vinegar and 5 fresh mint leaves. Take a pan and take water in it. Boil the mint leaves for 15 minutes and keep it aside to let it cool down; then strain it. Now mix vinegar in it and use it. This one is suitable for those with dandruff.

  1. Rose – Chamomile Hair Rinse:

You need 2 cups of water, 1 tablespoon of dried chamomile flowers, 1 tablespoon of rosehips, 1 tablespoon of baking soda. Take a pan and add water to it. Boil dried chamomile flowers and rosehips for 15 minutes in it and then keep it aside to let it cool down; then train the water. Now mix baking soda in it; if you want you can also add few drops of lavender essential oil. Use this as hair rinse.

  1. Nettle – Lavender Hair Rinse:

You need 2 cups of water, 2 tablespoons of nettle leaves, 5 drops of lavender essential oil and 1 tablespoon of baking soda. Take a pan and add water to it. Boil nettle leaves in water for 15 minutes and then keep it aside to let it cool down for a while; then strain the water. Now mix baking soda in it and use it as hair rinse. You can also add lavender essential oil if you want.

  1. Rosemary Hair Rinse:

You need 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and 1 cup of water. Take a pan and add water to it. Boil the dried rosemary in it for 15 minutes and then keep it aside to let it cool down for a while; then strain the water. You can also add vinegar and lavender essential oil to it if you want to and use it as hair rinse.
