Bring one cup of water to a boil. To it, add one teaspoon of grated garlic, one-fourth teaspoon of cinnamon and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Let it boil for another two-three minutes and then strain it. Drink it warm, 3 times a day until you get relief.

HONEY

The simplest home remedy is to consume a mixture of one teaspoon of lemon juice and two teaspoons of honey. Take it every two hours to get immense relief from your strep throat and pain related to it.

CAYENNE

Remedy 1: You need to mix together one-fourth teaspoon of cayenne powder, one tablespoon of honey, few drops concentrated garlic juice and three grated garlic cloves. Take one-half teaspoon of this mixture every hour, several times a day.

Remedy 2: You may add one tablespoon of lemon juice and one-fourth teaspoon of cayenne pepper to a glass of hot water. Gargle with this solution several times a day.

CINNAMON

Cinnamon tea works well in soothing strep throat pain and the infection too gradually. To make this tea, add one-half teaspoon of cinnamon powder to a cup of hot boiling water. Allow the mixture to rest for 10 minutes and mix in one teaspoon of honey. Drink this solution three or four times daily until the condition improves.

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

Apple cider vinegar has anti bacterial properties. Add one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and one teaspoon each of lemon juice and little honey to a cup of warm water and drink it slowly. Do this two or three times a day.

TURMERIC

Remedy 1: Mix one teaspoon of turmeric powder into a glass of warm water. Drink it slowly in the morning on an empty stomach. Do this once daily for four to five days.

Remedy 2: Add one-half teaspoon of turmeric powder and one-half teaspoon of salt to a glass of warm water and mix it well. Gargle with this mixture thrice daily.

RED ONION

Red onion is best consumed in the form of syrup. Slice three red onions horizontally. Put one slice of onion in a bowl and add raw honey. Repeat the process until the bowl is full. Cover the bowl and leave it for 12 to 15 hours. When you open the bowl, there will be thick liquid like syrup. Drink a spoonful of the syrup several times a day, say 4-5 times during the initial days of acquiring strep throat to get relief from sore throats and other symptoms of a cold.
