I am slowly turning into a lip balm lover, since only recently I have started using them a lot. There are so many ways to use a lip balm- as a cheap highlighter, to add some glow to your brow bone, salt+ lipbalm as an amazing lip exfoliant, and as a pre-lipstick moisturizer etc. I recently bought Streetwear Smoothies Lip Balm in Plum Pluck and here is a review on it:

MY TAKE ON STREETWEAR SMOOTHIE LIP BALM IN PLUM PLUCK
Packaging: I loved the packaging! It is so girly and cute. The lipbalm is a cylindrical twist-up tube similar to the usual lipstick packaging. The tube is black and made up of plastic which is not of great quality (I feel) as compared to other lip balms of great brands. Nevertheless, the packaging is travel friendly.
Texture: Lip balm has a very smooth consistency but is not thick. I like thick lipbalms since they stay longer on the lips and moisturizes well. Since this lipbalm is not thick, it vanishes after an hour or so and you are left with bare dry lips!
Shade: Plum pluck is purple in colour but looks transparent on the lips. Since it has a tint of purple to it, it makes my lips look dull :/ pink lipbalms go really well with lips since they have light pink colour, but the purple one makes you look sick!
Fragrance: Don’t be fooled by the shade name as lipbalm does not have any plum fragrance! It has a strong mint smell, and not just smell, it feels minty too.
How I use and staying power: I apply this on lips directly and I am done! Lips instantly start feeling minty cold and it smells minty too for quite some time (I am not a big fan of mint fragrance!). Does not quite moisturize the lips and does not stay beyond 1 hour! This lip balm only gives temporary shine but that too with purple undertones :/ if you do not want purple tones, swipe it just once on the lips for a transparent film.

- Does not moisturize lips
- Poor staying power
- Building up gives an unpleasant purplish tint
- Poor quality of packaging
