BENEFITS:
Clay- Has cleansing and detoxing properties. Also soaks up excess oil leaving roots refreshed and unclogged.
Apple cider vinegar- Balances scalp pH, cleanses scalp and hair and removes any buildup. Adds a healthy shine.
Honey- Is a natural humectant. Hydrates hair and scalp and also has anti-microbial and anti-dandruff properties.
Tea tree oil- Helps fight dandruff and has anti-microbial properties.
RECIPE FOR SOAP-FREE SHAMPOO:
Things you need-
- Any clay 1/3 cup (Fuller’s earth, Betonite clay, Rhassoul clay etc.)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Enough apple cider vinegar
- 5 drops tea tree oil
Directions-
In a bowl, add clay and honey.
Add in enough apple cider vinegar to make a spreadable paste that isn’t very thick.
Add in tea tree oil and mix.
Use this to massage on damp scalp and hair and rinse off thoroughly. You can then condition as usual.
