Hi friends! Body lotions are literally inseparable part of our life. Palmer’s is a very well-known brand for making quality products. There products are paraben and pthalate free too! I was eyeing to their body lotions for a quite long time and as soon as I have got a coupon from an online site, I have ordered it without any second thought. I also got 25% extra in the huge bottle. So I am very much lucky for that as these extras are only for limited time. So back to the review! Today I will review the cocoa butter formula body lotion from Palmer’s.
Company claims– Rich, luxurious Palmer’s cocoa butter formula daily body lotion provides deep hydration all over. This velvety soft formula absorbs quickly, creating a protective barrier that locks in moisture. From normal to dry to eczema prone skin, this emollient rich lotion effectively softens and relieves, leaving skin smooth, supple and beautiful.
My experience with Palmer’s cocoa butter formula body lotion with vitamin E-
Packahing– palmer’s cocoa butter formula body lotion comes in a huge white colored bottle with a pump dispenser. The pump is sturdy and the plastic of the bottle is very thick and hard. The bottle is itself a big one so one may find it hard to travel with. In that case you can pour some amount if lotion into a smaller container.
Smell, texture of the lotion– This lotion has a quite thick texture like butter. It melts on the skin when you rub it against your skin. But it takes a little bit more time to blend and sink into the skin. This comes with exactly the color of butter. But the texture is soft and emollient type.
It smells like chocolate. It has a pure aroma of cocoa. I love the smell! The smell doesn’t vanish just after the application but lingers for some time.
Performance– As I have dry skin, I have chosen this variant. Though my skin is not flaky or eczema prone so I can’t tell about the eczema issues. But it softens and moisturizes well my skin very well. It sinks into my skin without leaving any white caste or any oily layer. It makes my skin soft for a long time but does not provide intense moisturisation. If I apply Palmer’s cocoa butter formula after bath, I have to apply it at night in dry areas of my skin again. Over all a good choice for summer especially for normal to dry skin.

- Doesn’t leave greasy oily residue on skin
Cons-
- Sturdy packaging but not so travel friendly for its size. But this is not at all a con for me!
- Needs a little bit time to sink totally into the skin
- In winter you need to use at least twice a day.
- Oily skin may find it heavy but remember, this is not meant for them. At least company clearly mentions this is very much suitable for normal-dry-very dry skin!

Recommendation– yeah I totally recommend it to girls suffering from dry dehydrated skin. Normal skin girls can also use this as it is not so heavy and texture is soft and buttery. It heals and the smell is quite nice. If you are looking for a body lotion that is free from paraben, surely go for it! Until next, take care 🙂
