Overnight Acne Scar removal with natural remedies

It isn’t just about the acne you need to worry about, the scars they leave behind can be very unpleasant and difficult to get rid of. Pimple marks are often difficult to remove and take time to fade but natural home remedies can help speed up the process of fading a scar.

Start by gently exfoliating the skin, make a natural scrub by using baking soda with water or honey. Make a light paste using two parts of water and one part of baking soda. Scrub this gently on the scars for about a minute after which you can rinse it off. Make sure you avoid rubbing vigorously. Here are few homemade scrubs you can make. Follow up with one of the following home remedies:

Lemon Acne Scar Remedy 

You will need:

• 1 tsp Lemon Juice
• 1 tbsp Rose Water

Dilute lemon juice with rose water, lemon has lightening properties that will lighten the scar overtime. With a clean cotton swab to apply the mixture on the scar and leave it overnight.

Honey Acne Scar Remedy

You will need:

• Honey
• Oats

The two ingredients are safe for all skin types, and the oats will act to soothe rough skin. Mix together equal parts of honey and oats until a thick paste has formed. Apply evenly to the face while gently scrubbing in a circular motion. Wash off in the morning.

Tomato Acne Scar Remedy:

Crush a tomato and make a paste. Soak a cotton pad in the paste and use it on the scar, use a band aid over it to keep the cotton in place.

Aloe Vera Acne Scar Remedy :

You will need:

• Aloe Vera
• lemon juice

Mix 1 tbsp of aloe vera gel with 1 tsp of lemon juice. Dab a small amount of the mixture on the scar to soothe and smooth the skin.

Coconut oil Acne Scar Remedy :

You will need:

• coconut oil
• lavender oil

Take a few drops of lavender oil along with a tbsp of coconut oil and gently massage it in your skin. Do this daily. This will not only help repair damaged skin but also prevent any further scarring due to acne.

Clearing a scar overnight is impossible, though with the above tips you can lighten the scar and get rid of it overtime.  Drink a lot of water, this helps in removing the toxins from your body and in turn gives you a scar-free face.
