Whenever Maybelline comes up with a new improved variant I am excited to try it. Recently I saw two additional variants in the form of Lychee addict and Watermelon smooth. Watermelon being my favorite flavor I decided to go for it. So is it better than the regular baby lips or any special, read on to find that.

My Experience:
The packaging is just too cute to ignore these, it comes in a bright poppy packaging with contrasting mint green and pink colored twist up tube for easy application. The lip balm is very handy and can be carried along easily. It smells exactly like yummy watermelons and I quite like the fresh and light fragrance.
It looks white colored with a light pink hue but goes on transparent when applied. Since it is colorless it can be used by everyone. It is enriched with centella essence which provides double the nourishment then the regular baby lips and has SPF of 20 for adequate sun protection.
Due to the winters I was suffering from dry chapped lips and this lip balm has helped me in healing them almost completely resulting in softer smoother a fuller lips. The soft texture applies smoothly on the lips and does not feel greasy or heavy on layering. I noticed it keeps my lips moisturized for long and I don’t need to keep on reapplying it often which is a relief. It stands on all the claims Maybelline has made and one of the best lip balm I have tried so far.

My Verdict: After trying so many variants of these lip balms I can happily say this one is the best in moisture department with a better formula that actually helps in healing dry lips, it is a must have for me. If you like using clear lip balms then you need to try this.
