Exfoliating is necessary to remove dead skin cells from face, feet, body and any other part of the body. Exfoliating regularly using cleansing products is essential to keep skin smooth and free of dead skin cells. Cleansing products need not necessarily mean commercial products, natural home ingredients work better in every way! Here are some natural remedies to get rid of dead skin cells:
SANDALWOOD SCRUB
Mix sandalwood with rice powder, milk and rose water. Do not add too much milk or water as scrubs are thick in consistency. Apply this paste/scrub on the face or body and scrub using gentle circulator moments. Wash off after few minutes of scrubbing.
OATMEAL SCRUB
To make this scrub you need rose water, lemon juice, honey, oatmeal, milk and brown sugar. Mix together oatmeal, lemon juice, rose water and milk. Mix it together and adjust the consistency by adding more or less milk. Add brown sugar and honey to it and stir again. Rub this on your body and face using circular moments for few minutes and wash off using warm water.
BROWN SUGAR+ COCONUT OIL
Properly mix ½ cup of fine brown sugar and 3 tablespoons of coconut oil. Add 2 to 3 teaspoons of honey to the mixture. Apply this mixture on your skin and rub it around using circular motions for few minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water, then pat dry gently.
COFFEE+ ALMOND OIL
To make this scrub, you need 7 tablespoons of almond oil and 1 cup ground coffee. Mix up the ingredients in a bowl and stir well. You may also add honey to this. Wet your skin, take a small amount of this scrub and start scrubbing the skin using gentle massaging moments. Wash off using lukewarm water and follow this 3-4 times a week for soft skin free of dead skin cells.
CURD RICE SCRUB
This scrub is very creamy and thick and scrubs away dead skin cells very effectively. You need rice flour, rose oil and curd to make this scrub. Take rice flour in a bowl and add few drops rose oil to it. Mix it well and start adding curd to it little by little stirring it in between checking the consistency. Stop doing this when you get a thick paste. Apply this on your face, arms and legs with gentle massaging. Allow it to dry before washing it off with cool water.
ALMOND HONEY FACE SCRUB
Soak 5-10 almonds in water overnight. You can soak them water but milk works better as it moisturizes the face along with brightening effect. The next morning, peel off their skin and grind the almonds into a granular paste. Mix in 2 teaspoons of honey and apply this paste on your face and neck with gentle massaging moments. Let it dry on your skin for 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse your face with lukewarm water. Follow this routine 3-4 times in a week to reveal glowing skin free of dead skin cells.
