Pressed powder is something we all need- whether it is a full makeup as a setting powder or just powder for a fresh look. Pressed powder is a must have in your handbag, you never know when you might need a touch up- an unexpected meeting, outing etc. and you might want to look fresh and good. I recently bought the Maybelline fit Me Pressed Powder- 230 Natural Buff along with other a foundation and blush from this range. Without wasting much time, let us get to the review:

MY TAKE ON MAYBELLINE FIT ME PRESSED POWDER- 230 NATURAL BUFF
Packaging: This product has a very cute and unique packaging! I love how they have fitted the pressed powder pan, puff and mirror in a small box! Upper section contains the pressed powder and the lower section has puff and mirror attached on the adjacent lid. The lid of the box is transparent in the centre with thick black border. Entire box is made up of plastic.
The puff provided is quite soft and velvety and makes application very easy. Though I prefer powder brush over puffs.
Texture: Texture of pressed powder is just like any other powder. Spreads evenly and sets your makeup.
Shade: 230- natural buff is a shade which will go with most of the skin tones from fair to medium. This shade is between fair and medium with a bit of yellow undertones- this way it is suitable for Indian skin tones.
How I use and staying power: I apply this powder with a powder brush after using Maybelline Fit Me Foundation. It sets the makeup very well giving a smooth flawless finish and also brightens up your complexion. It is mentioned on the powder that it is suitable for normal to dry skin but I am using this and it works perfectly! No oiliness or shiny T-zone; so it can be used by everyone irrespective of skin type. It works like a translucent powder and not conceal or cover dark spots, under eye circles and acne; so it is the best to be used over concealer or foundation. If you are blessed with flawless skin, you may use it alone.
This powder keeps your makeup fresh all day long, so it does what it claims- sets everything perfectly!
