I don’t quite use foundations since I have oily skin. Matte products go well with my skin and i was looking out for a good matte liquid foundation for occasional use. I recently bought Maybelline Fit Me Matte+ Poreless foundation through an online shopping website and luckily I got a perfect shade for me. It is quite tough to predict foundation and lipstick shades online (all the girls out there, you know the pain) and I was a bit tensed about the shade selection; but I was happy when I received the product since it was the exact shade of my skin! So without much ado, let us get to the review:

Packaging: The foundation comes in a sturdy rectangular glass bottle with black plastic cap. Looks quite sophisticated and classy! It has no pump dispenser which makes taking out the product quite messy and not-so-neat. The shade number is embossed on the top of cap which makes identifying the shade number easily from the lot.
Texture: Texture of the foundation is runny since it a liquid foundation and a bit creamy (not thick) since it is matte foundation too. The maybelline fit me foundation is easily blend-able with fingers as well as beauty blender.
Shade: Shade 310- sun beige is between fair and dark shade. It is not very pale and not very dark, perfect for medium skin tones. Since it has yellow undertones, it will suit most of the medium skin tones perfectly.
How I use and staying power: I first apply tiny dots of this foundation on my entire face; wet the PAC Beauty Blender, squeeze out excess water and tap-tap-tap my entire face until an even distribution of foundation is seen. I let my face dry completely before using Fit Me compact powder- and I am done!
The foundation definitely does not give an absolute matte finish, instead it gives a lovely dewy finish which I love! The dewy finish stays intact for the entire day. This foundation gives medium coverage so if you have severe acne and prominent dark spots; you need to give this a miss or invest in a good concealer; though it blurs pores entirely. The summer here in Mumbai is unbearable with high humidity, even after sweating so much the foundation still looked fresh at the end of the day! This foundation does give a mild white cast when you apply but vanishes few minutes later. So overall, I love this foundation and love this shade that goes perfectly with my skin tone.
