People raved about this and today I will share with you all why people have raved about this! Kama Ayurveda products are expensive as well as luxurious. I was quite excited to try their brightening scrub which contains kumkumadi in it. Kumkumadi is known as miraculous for skin so I can’t resist myself from buying this though this is an expensive product.
Kama claims– Kama Ayurveda’s Kumkumadi brightening face scrub is specially formulated with pure ayurvedic Kumkumadi oil, a miraculous beauty fluid which is made with 12 precious and rare ingredients to help smooth fine lines, illuminate skin color and promote new cell growth. Our Ayurveda based formula is blended with finest Saffron from Kashmir to brighten your skin, reduce dark circles and pigmentation. Finely ground sweet almond rich in vitamin E & D nourishes and nurtures while exfoliating pollutants and impurities for a glowing complexion.
Packaging- Kama Ayurveda Kumkumadi brightening scrub comes in a dark brown colored glass container with a glossy black cap on it. The orange lebel with golden graphics make it look classy and elegant. The tub container is further packed in a self-worked orange paper box with golden floral designs. But the packaging is not travel friendly as the glass may break. But the overall look is so classy and I didn’t like it if this luxurious scrub came with tube packaging. I love it as it is. The wooden spatula is also very cute and helpful.
Smell, texture & color– The scrub smells like saffron but the smell is not at all overpowering and my sensitive noses never felt any disgust with this. The texture is quite thick so small amount is required for each usage. The base is ivory in color and the exfoliator granules are orange and browns.
Performance- This scrub does its job quite well. it exfoliates the skin and makes my skin baby soft. It is a weekly scrub and I don’t really feel the need to use it twice as the effect is long lasting. It brightens the face and helps to remove mild tan too. But I don’t know how it would be able to remove dark circles! I didn’t use it around the area of eyes. I wet my face and then apply this. The base doesn’t get vanished after mixing with water so this is a big pro. I scrub my face for 2 minutes and the wash it off with plain water followed by application of Kama rose-water. My skin feels fresh and revitalized. I am just in love!
