Herbal Tea for congestion
Common cold and congested nose is very common especially during change in weather due to allergies. Runny nose is often accompanied with nasal congestion and people like using de-congesting nasal sprays for quicker results. Nasal sprays aren’t a good option in long run and can also be quite addicting. Before you go out for commercial treatments, try the below herbal tea:

Turmeric- Has anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and soothing properties. It calms down inflammation in respiratory tract and opens up nasal passages.
Ginger- Has anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. Helps open up nasal passages and clear the mucus.
Raw honey- Raw honey has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties.

Things you need-
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1 tablespoon raw honey
Directions-
In a saucepan, add milk and turmeric. Add in ginger powder and raw honey.
Let it boil once and turn off the flame. Consume hot twice a day.
