Your skin can be completely dehydrated and damaged if you don’t take extra care during summer. Sunscreen is necessary all year long of course, but you need to be extra careful during summers. So here is a homemade sunscreen recipe to keep your skin looking amazing all summer long.
Sunscreen is a highly recommended defense against sunburn and skin cancer. It is available in lotions, creams, gels, and spray. Use it 30mins before you step out and spread it on your face and entire body. Re-apply every two hours to protect your skin.
Aloe gel- Works as a great base. Has anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties. Also calms and soothe skin.
Shea butter- Moisturizes skin and forms a protective layer.
Carrot seed oil- Provides SPF of 30-40.
RECIPE FOR HOMEMADE SUNSCREEN:
Things you need-
- 4 tablespoons aloe vera gel
- 2 tablespoons shea butter
- 10 drops carrot seed oil
In a bowl, add aloe vera gel. Use only commercial aloe gel.
Add in carrot seed oil and mix well. Stir until everything is well-combined.
Use it as a body and facial sunscreen.
