FABINDIA TEA TREE FACE WASH REVIEW, PRICE

What company claims about Fabindia Tea Tree Face Wash? An antiseptic face wash ideal for oily skin, containing tea tree oil and turmeric extract. Daily use removes excess sebum reducing acne and pimples.

Price- 165 INR for 120 ml

My experience with Fabindia Tea Tree Face Wash- Fabindia Tea Tree Face Wash comes with a pale green tube with a transparent flip open cap. The cap is tight and makes the tube travel friendly. I like the simple yet sophisticated fabindia packaging.

The face wash has a soft gel like texture which is a little runny and not very thick. It has a very faint green color which is barely noticeable and most of the times it looks colorless. It smells like typical tea tree oil and to my sensitive nose this is not over powering as the smell doesn’t linger after rinsing the face wash.

It lathers quite easily and nicely. The foam is very soft and gentle on skin. It cleans the dirt and oil from the face. It really helps in controlling minor acne, rashes. But I can’t talk about severe acne as thankfully I don’t have any. It doesn’t leave my skin stretchy or very dry. I apply moisturizer immediate after cleansing my face with face washes. Still I didn’t notice any dryness after using this before applying the moisturizer,

Tea tree oil is known to cure pigmentations but I never seen in changes in my pigmentation caused by sun tan after using this face wash. I don’t expect it though. I think face washes are not enough to clean pigmentation. It gives a cooling sensation to my face and keeps my face oil free for about 1-2 hours. But after that my face starts to get oily.

Pros-

  • Very affordable
  • Soft gel like texture
  • Contains tea tree oil and turmeric extract which are very good for skin
  • Packaging is also very sturdy
  • Removes oil and dirt from face
  • Doesn’t make my skin stretchy
  • Cures minor acne and rashes

Cons-

  • Smell is not over powering to me but some may feel too strong
  • Availability is still an issue. Though they are available in online and fabindia stores, one couldn’t find it at local market
  • Doesn’t control oil for a long time

Rating- 3.5/5

Recommendation– If you have oily acne prone skin and you have no problem with strong tea tree smell you should try this. If you have dry skin you should skip this. Though I am happy with the results, I will not buy it again as clean and clear face washes suit me well over this. But this is better than many expensive ones and problematic oily skin girls can give this a shot.
