Washing hair everyday isn’t recommended but if you have oily scalp, your hair definitely tends to get greasy after a day of hair washing and you of course might want to wash it frequently. Dry shampoos are becoming quite popular because it extends the days between hair washes and prevent excessive usage of shampoos. Dry shampoos are quite expensive but you can make one yourself at the comfort of your home!
Things you need-
- 4 tablespoon rubbing alcohol
- 2 tablespoon distilled water
- ½ teaspoon arrowroot powder or corn starch
- Few drops lavender essential oil
Directions-
In a bowl, add rubbing alcohol and distilled water. Add in arrowroot powder or corn starch and mix well.
Add few drops of lavender oil or any other fragrant essential il f your choice and mix everything well.
Pour this in a spray bottle and use it just as you would any dry shampoo.
