CLEANING & WASHING STUFFED ANIMALS

CLEAN USING MESH BAGS

Mesh bags work amazingly in cleaning stuffed animals! All you need to do is toss the stuffed animals into mesh bags and put it in the washing machine. This will prevent wear and tear and keep the shape of stuffed animals in top condition.

CLEAN USING BAKING SODA

  • To remove odor and surface grime and dirt, you can place stuffed animals in a Ziploc bag with some baking soda.
  • Shake the bag until the toy is covered and let it sit for about 30min.
  • Remove the stuffed animal and wipe off the baking soda with a towel.  The baking soda will absorb odor and dust from the stuffed animals.
  • Add few drops of essential oil like lavender or tea tree oil along with baking soda. Essential oils are naturally antibacterial and they smell really good.

WASH USING VINEGAR SOAK

In a tub, add warm water and ½ cup of white vinegar. Soak in stuffed animals for 1 hour. Remove them and squeeze off the water. Soak them again in soapy water for 30 minutes and hang them out in the sun for your stuffed animal to look and smell like new.
